Tennessee Harm Reduction solely relies on in-kind donations — gifts of syringes, naloxone, fentanyl test strips, and other harm reduction supplies — to function. This has been true since day one, when our founder and director began distributing harm reduction supplies to fellow drug users and their friends and family members in Northwest Tennessee in late 2017 or early 2018.

As of April 2022, we’re asking the public — you — for donations.

Are you an individual?

We encourage you not to purchase syringes, naloxone, fentanyl test strips, cookers, cottons, tourniquets, or other harm reduction supplies with money you’d like to donate.

We get discounted prices on these products through the North American Syringe Exchange Network’s Buyer’s Club — you do the donating, we do the buying.

Are you an organization?

If your organization has soon-to-be-expired naloxone, syringes, fentanyl test strips, or any other harm reduction supplies, we’d love to take them off your hands. We can arrange pickup if you’re near West Tennessee or potentially cover shipping costs.

Alternatively, you can follow this link to donate (also via PayPal). You do not need a PayPal account to donate.

Note: You’ll find that our organization’s name is listed as “Tennessee Harm Reduction – West” at the link above. That’s because Tennessee Harm Reduction was incorporated with the State of Tennessee as Tennessee Harm Reduction – West; we also registered “Tennessee Harm Reduction” as an official alternate name of ours. We happen to have two Facebook pages for these two names, with Tennessee Harm Reduction being intended for statewide matters, such as the operation of this website, with Tennessee Harm Reduction – West being intended to field replies from Tennesseans who need syringes, naloxone, fentanyl test strips, and/or other harm reduction supplies. Again, to be clear, Tennessee Harm Reduction and Tennessee Harm Reduction – West are the same organization.
