How to Request Supplies From Our Syringe Exchange

We are open 10a – 11p, Monday – Sunday. We utilize a demand-driven — or a participant-driven — model; this means we don’t travel around West Tennessee doing outreach, trying to find people who need clean syringes, naloxone, or other harm reduction supplies. Rather, we wait for people in need of our services to reach out to us and request supplies. We utilize this service model to better match how state-approved Syringe Services Programs (SSPs) are required to operate here in Tennessee.

Here’s how our program works:

  1. Contact us. Reach out to us at (731) 803-0362 — text or call — or through our website’s Contact page. Social media and email also work.

  2. We’ll arrange a neutral, public meeting site somewhere in North Jackson. We pick the location. We always select well-lit, safe locations. We do not deliver to you.

  3. Let us know how many people will be participating. We like to know how many participants you’re bringing. A participant is someone who accesses our services. Please tell us this each time you reach out to us.

  4. Contact us when you arrive at the meeting site.* At first, we didn’t require participants to show up first, but after we kept having to wait on participants, we changed our rules. Contact us when you get there and we’ll be there in a few minutes. We promise not to keep you waiting.

  5. We’ll show up at the site. We’re not pulling up in a big, neon yellow van with “FREE SYRINGES” emblazoned on the side — we’re discreet and use a regular vehicle, just like you.

  6. Currently, we require donations for our services — please bring at least $10. You can expect to receive 40 to 50 syringes, as much naloxone (NARCAN) as you ask for, and safe injection supplies (e.g., alcohol swabs, cotton filters, tourniquets, cookers).

Most harm reduction programs have funding. We don’t. That means we have no money to buy supplies with — except for your donations. If you don’t donate, we can’t buy supplies.

On average, we pay ~$9.80 for one participant’s supplies. This figure does not include labor or vehicle expenses. Our syringe exchange is a one-man operation. That man works for free. Please consider throwing us a few extra dollars, if you can afford it.

  7. Get the supplies and leave. It’s time to get your supplies. We put your supplies in a Walmart bag for added privacy. You can stay and talk, should you have any questions, or leave as soon as you get what you came for.

  8. If you’re ready, get in touch with us. We prefer being contacted by phone — just call or text us and say, “Hey, I want X, Y, and Z. Can you help me?” You can also use our contact form, but it might take a few days for us to get back with you.

Note *: We stop taking requests at 10:45 pm. Please be at the meet-up location and ready for us by 10:45 pm, or we will not be able to satisfy your request until the next day.

This is such a big help to parsons who cannot find clean sanitized & safe means of injec!!tions I think your service must be pretty amazing although I’ve not used your services I may in the near future I just wanted to say more bigger cities need these services as well most small little towns who have nowhere to get clean syringes

  2. I was wondering if I could get some of the narcan nasal spray kit. There is absolutely nowhere in Rogersville Tennessee that you can get these kits, and overdosing is becoming a very huge problem here I just want to be able to help as many people as I can please let me know on what you can do

  3. I am an IV drug user and live in Lebanon VA and haven’t found any local places offering syringe services. Any advice on where to go for these services or any places that will mail them to me
