High-Dose Naloxone Formulations Are Not as Essential as We Thought

August 14, 2023. As Tennessee Harm Reduction’s first academic publication, this literature review dissects the current body of research on high-dose naloxone formulations (HDNF). We found no evidence that HDNF are necessary for the vast majority of opioid overdose reversals, including cases involving fentanyl.
